Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement, inventory control, and supplier management activities at their facility. This role will develop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, ensure operational efficiency, and mitigate supply chain risk while supporting manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with corporate goals and operational plansLead, train, and develop the procurement and inventory control team; serve as ERP/MRP system championManage supplier relationships, including vendor consolidation, contract negotiation, and supplier performanceOversee purchasing and inventory control activities to ensure material availability, cost control, and policy complianceForecast material requirements based on production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory levelsIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks; develop contingency plans and secure alternate suppliersMonitor and report key supply chain KPIs; drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiativesPartner closely with Operations leadership to support manufacturing efficiency and business continuitySupport sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO quality, safety, and environmental standardsKey QualificationsProven experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials management within a manufacturing environmentStrong leadership and team development capabilitiesExperience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision makingDemonstrated success in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and inventory optimizationStrong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
