Bodyshop Administrator/Assessor
Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin
Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years. We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
Our expanding network of branches and sizeable fleet enable us to deliver vehicles to customers quickly and keep them on the road longer by minimizing downtime. Our fleet includes light commercial vehicles from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our growth, we have a full-time vacancy within our Bodyshop team in our Dublin branch.
This role is ideal for someone with similar experience in a previous role.
Role Overview
Responsible for processing all damages requiring Bodyshop assessment and repair, ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with KPIs, and maintaining no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet in Bodyshop at any time.
Key Responsibilities
- Take additional images of damaged vehicles for damage packs
- Upload damage packs to shared drives
- Perform quality checks on vehicles post-repair
- Communicate QC outcomes to Workshop Manager
- Manage and monitor vehicles in Bodyshop
- Manage damage packs and documentation requests
- Serve as contact point for Service Department and other departments
- Provide training support to satellite branches
- Liaise with Asset Department regarding vehicle movements
- Ensure timely job card creation and update CAP accordingly
- Update customers on repair progress
- Handle correspondence and communication with external Bodyshops
- Conduct fleet audit reporting
- Maintain filing systems

Person Specification - Education & Qualifications
- Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance
- Experience in a Bodyshop environment
- Proven customer service skills and relationship building
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capable of working under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organized, self-motivated, and administrative skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented
- Experience in vehicle rental or motor industry beneficial
- Experience in warranty, workshop, or body shop roles desirable
