We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven
Sous Chef
to join the kitchen team of a well-established hospitality venue in County Wicklow.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef to step into a senior role within a busy and professional hotel environment.
The Role
Working closely with the Head Chef, the Sous Chef will support the day-to-day management of the kitchen while helping deliver consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen
Assist with menu planning, specials, and food development
Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
Ensure HACCP and food safety standards are consistently followed
Step into the Head Chef role when required
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to progress
Experience within a busy hotel or hospitality kitchen
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Passion for fresh food and high culinary standards
Solid understanding of HACCP and kitchen compliance
