This is a dual property position, offering an exceptional opportunity to work across two distinctive hospitality environments, one a renowned luxury castle hotel currently working towards Forbes 5-Star recognition, and the other a vibrant, family-friendly hotel with a strong community focus. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and supporting HR initiatives across both properties, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and growth that reflects the high standards of theDromoland Estate.Overview of the Role:The role will be working onsite Monday to Friday 09:00am to 5:00pmSupport the day-to-day operations of the HR department across both Dromoland Castle and The INN at Dromoland, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes.Assist with the full recruitment cycle, from advertising and interviewing to selection and onboarding, ensuring each new team member has a seamless and positive introduction.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory obligations, including annual leave, absenteeism, and turnover tracking.Participate in employee relations activities, including note-taking during disciplinary and grievance meetings.Contribute to initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture across both properties.Oversee the offboarding process and conduct exit interviews to support continuous improvement in employee retention and engagement.Generate HR reports and analytics to support informed decision-making.Work independently and proactively, effectively managing priorities and deadlines across two unique hotel environments.Promote collaboration, communication, and a strong sense of teamwork among staff at both locations.Requirements:A relevant third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related field.A minimum of two years' consecutive experience in a Human Resources role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems; experience with Alkimii or Occupop is a distinct advantage.Strong understanding of Irish employment legislation and best practices within the hospitality industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation.Highly organised and detail-oriented, demonstrating strong administrative and record-keeping capabilities.Fluency in English, with the professionalism and discretion required to represent two leading hospitality brands.A full, clean driver's licence, as travel between both properties is required.Benefits:Complimentary use of The Inn at Dromoland's Leisure Centre.Career development and progression opportunities across both properties.Meals provided while on duty.Free on-site parking.Exclusive staff discounts at Dromoland Castle and The Inn at Dromoland.Provision of Uniform Suit Items.Eligibility to Work:Applicants must have the right to live and work in Ireland without restrictions.
