Audit Senior – Asset Management

Department Overview
Our Audit & Assurance practice is growing quickly.
This position expands our Asset Management team and offers exposure to dynamic industries such as funds, private equity, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, structured finance, and special purpose vehicles.
You will collaborate with clients across local and international markets.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit program development, and fieldwork.
Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
Supervise junior audit staff, providing direction, support, and guidance throughout the audit process.
Review work completed by team members for accuracy and completeness and provide constructive feedback.
Act as a point of contact for clients during audit engagements, addressing inquiries and providing updates on audit progress.
Ensure audit documentation and reports meet firm standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
Support the development and mentoring of junior team members through on-the-job training and coaching.
Skills and Attributes
Minimum 3 years of experience.
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or similar qualification).
Strong technical skills in Irish GAAP, auditing standards, IFRS.
Extensive audit experience with a diverse portfolio of clients.
Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment.
