We are seeking an Electrical Facilities Technician to join our team in Dublin 1, working Monday to Friday.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily maintenance of all electrical equipment on-site.
2. Report issues with equipment to the Facilities Engineer.
3. Collaborate with Mechanical/Multi Skilled Technicians to manage multi-disciplinary equipment.
4. Respond to service calls logged with the help desk, investigate issues, and resolve them promptly.
5. Ensure subcontractors understand reported problems and carry out their work effectively.
6. Manage helpdesk requests from receipt to completion and sign-off.
7. Coordinate with other operations to fulfill client requests.
8. Inspect equipment and document in maintenance records.
9. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Facilities Engineer.
10. Ensure plant operates efficiently.
11. Oversee subcontractors to ensure best practices.
12. Provide energy reduction recommendations related to plant operations.
13. Be flexible and available for overtime work.
14. Promote a safety culture with a goal of zero accidents, adhering to EHS standards.
Requirements:
1. Experience working in a professional team environment.
2. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
3. Trade qualification.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
1. 5+ years as a qualified electrician.
2. Experience in similar environments.
3. Knowledge of emergency lighting, inspections, PAT testing, thermographic surveys, and lighting management systems.
4. Strong administrative and coordination skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills.
