Access Talent Group are recruiting for an M&E Estimator for one of the biggest contractors in Ireland working on exciting large scale projects in Ireland and Europe.
Our client is a well-established and reputable M&E Contractor known for delivering high-quality projects on a large scale. With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, they have become a leader in the industry, providing cutting-edge solutions across various sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for M&E projects.
* Collaborate with the project team to understand client requirements and project specifications.
* Analyse blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
* Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness.
* Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information for estimating.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an M&E Estimator within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and components.
* Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
* Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under tight deadlines.
