My client is is one of the worlds leading independent life sciences technology companies, focused on improving health and wellbeing in indoor environments through scientific research, innovation, and data-driven solutions. They have recently secured investment and are about to enter an exciting phase of growth. As such, they are looking for an ambitious recently qualifiedFinancial Accountantto join their expanding finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, youll play a key role in maintaining strong financial control, delivering insightful reporting, and supporting decision-making across the Group. This is a broad, hands-on role offering real exposure to senior leadership in a fast-growing, purpose-driven business. Key Responsibilities: Own the month-end close and forecasting process, including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and deliver the Monthly Board Pack with accuracy and timeliness Produce monthly financial reports and support quarterly performance reviews Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements Support external audits and liaise with auditors and advisors Manage cash flow, treasury activities, budgeting, and VAT Partner with internal and external stakeholders (banks, tax authorities, legal advisors) Oversee outsourced finance activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives Requirements: Professionally qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Recently qualified with 1-2 years PQE Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management ability Ability to work in a scaling, innovative environment with access to senior leadership Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Skills: Month End Accounting Budgeting & Forecasting Cash Flow Management
