Leadership Position: Speech and Language Therapist
We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to lead our team in clinical and service development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience assessing and intervening with children and young people (0-18 years) and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a complex caseload, delivering high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services.
* Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff grade Speech and Language Therapists and students.
* Lead on service planning, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives within the discipline.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement coordinated care plans for families.
* Maintain professional and ethical standards, including registration and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Represent the profession and the organization internally and externally.
* Contribute to research, audits, and service evaluation projects.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Be registered or eligible for registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
* Have at least three years full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
* Meet the necessary knowledge and ability requirements for the position.
* Provide proof of statutory registration before a contract can be issued.
