Summary
Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company based in Limerick, is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of small-scale projects through their full lifecycle. These projects span across multiple disciplines, with a strong focus on building upgrades, laboratory modifications, and access control systems. This role requires a proactive professional with exposure to a wide range of engineering fields, who can manage stakeholders, contractors, and project delivery in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development, reporting, and management of project deliverables.
* Manage third-party contractors and outsourced partners to ensure delivery against safety, cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
* Drive and embed a strong safety culture across all project teams.
* Ensure compliance with site, corporate, and regulatory authority guidelines.
* Oversee full project lifecycle including planning/scoping, prioritisation, resource management, execution, and external communication.
* Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, challenges, and milestones effectively.
* Provide strategic solutions to complex project phasing and execution challenges.
* Oversee construction, commissioning, and transition to operations.
* Coordinate the introduction and installation of new equipment, including troubleshooting and problem-solving during pre-qualification and start-up.
* Support and promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with EHS standards, policies, and regulations.
* Present project updates, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree Third-level technical qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum 8 years’ experience managing engineering projects within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector.
* Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary projects, including building, lab, and systems modifications.
