We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Lead to oversee soft services and contract management, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for all occupants and visitors. This role is pivotal in managing services such as cleaning, security, landscaping, and catering, while also ensuring the effective execution and performance of both hard and soft service contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* You will manage day-to-day delivery of soft services including cleaning, security, landscaping, and catering.
* You will oversee the full lifecycle of facilities contracts—from negotiation and execution to performance monitoring and renewal.
* You will select and manage vendors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and service level agreements.
* You will track KPIs, generate performance reports, and identify areas for service improvement.
* You will ensure cost-effective use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints.
* You will maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and sustainability initiatives.
* You will serve as the primary point of contact for client concerns and unresolved facility issues.
* You will lead and develop a diverse team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* You will address and resolve issues related to repairs, maintenance, and facility upgrades.
* You will maintain clear and effective communication with staff, clients, and contractors.
* You will prepare and present reports on soft service performance and operational issues.
* You will promote and implement sustainable practices across all soft service operations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in facilities management, particularly in soft services and contract oversight.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and sustainability practices.
* Excellent vendor and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
* Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
* Budget management experience is a plus.
* Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
