Job Overview
* This position involves leading a team of laboratory services professionals and overseeing the delivery of high-quality lab services to clients.
* You will be responsible for managing workload, maintaining equipment, training new team members, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.
* A key aspect of this role is coordinating the lab services team to achieve productivity, quality, and documentation goals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage laboratory workload and service levels.
* Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
* Train and mentor new team members.
* Coordinating and supporting the lab services team to ensure productivity, quality, documentation, and work schedules.
* Communicate daily with site services managers to ensure effective information sharing and action-taking.
* Evaluate issues and escalate them to site services managers for review and resolution support.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Chemistry or Biology-related subject.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
* IT literacy, proficiency in Excel and SAP preferred.
* Valid driving license.
