About the role
As Product Marketing Director for CIA (Clinical Infant & Adult Medical Nutrition), you will play a pivotal role in our Health “pod team,” partnering with product management and RD&A to set the strategic direction for Kerry’s Proactive Health portfolio in clinical nutrition. You will integrate global consumer and category insights with healthcare customer and competitor data to craft a vision that positions Kerry as a leader in clinical nutrition and drive global execution of this strategy with regional marketing and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Define the where to play and right to win for the category segment by synthesizing global consumer and supplement category market trends in a health need state.
Develop the Target Product Blueprint, a voice of customer document that defines and prioritizes the jobs to be done, value to be gained, specifications to be met.
Collaborate with the pod team to develop the innovation pipeline through product renovations, research clinical trials and new to the world solutions.
Manage continuous growth by creating innovation pipeline that has output every 1, 3 and 5 years correlating with new positioning in horizon one, new research clinical trials in horizon two and new to the world products in horizon three.
Partner with product management to benchmark new growth opportunities, portfolio gaps, new products, renovations/research clinical trials/M&A against the target product blueprint and recommend a build or buy approach.
In partnership with the pod, determine attractiveness and ROI for each target product blueprint/new product, renovation, research clinical trial or M&A target we investigate by developing the business case and integration planning.
Develop business cases that critically evaluate, prioritize and balance solution elements and facilitate choice in collaboration with the POD.
With the pod team, define a living portfolio of target product blueprints and develop business cases that rank, prioritize and facilitate choice.
Lead the health platform “deep dives” including consumer and category market trends, opportunity sizing, competitive analysis and internal capability assessment to provide strategic recommendations to the business.
Identify new growth opportunities and portfolio gaps within the health portfolio and partner with product management to recommend a build vs. buy approach.
Collaborate with pod to develop an aspirational innovation pipeline that defines renovations within horizon one, new clinical trials within horizon two and new to the world solutions within horizon three.
Additional Responsibilities
Own, maintain and evolve Kerry’s global positioning in health and all “hero” technologies underneath the health platform.
Create “plug and play” global health content toolkits for mobilization in region.
Lead new product launches for the health platform including creation of value proposition, content creation and integrated marketing campaigns.
Partner with RD&A on internal new product innovation projects, collaborating on the design and strategic objectives of new clinical studies.
Partner with regional marketing leads on thought leadership opportunities such as speaking events and sponsorships.
Engage with sales to follow up on new business opportunities and launches to ensure a healthy opportunity pipeline long term.
Support market-mapping exercises alongside business development and commercial marketing to advance competitive learnings and articulate market share aspirations.
Tailor global technology value propositions to segmented customer conversations.
Manage the health portfolio brand guidelines and trademarks.
Collaborate on M&A strategic with market assessment, business rationale and integration planning as relevant for health platform.
Collaborate with commercial marketing to manage content, presence and interaction at key conferences, trade shows and scientific events in region.
Contribute to strategic business analysis projects to support market assessments and new business opportunity identification.
Partner with our digital marketing team, to ensure our PAH technologies are communicated on our global digital platforms and that they are working optimally for our business.
Support regular reporting of activities with impact for senior management team and key stakeholders.
Translate clinical and nutritional science into compelling, customer-relevant messaging.
Lead digital marketing initiatives including omnichannel campaigns, CRM, and HCP engagement platforms for the respective pod.
Define KPIs and track performance across campaigns and channels.
Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to executive leadership.
Explore emerging channels, digital tools, and personalized content strategies to enhance customer experience.
Integrate customer insights and feedback into marketing planning and execution.
Support KOL engagement, congress strategy, and thought leadership initiatives.
Collaborate with Medical Affairs to develop educational and evidence-based content.
Qualifications and Skills

Ability to manage several projects at one time with define delivers while demonstrating the competency to prioritize, meet timelines and a track record of getting things done at high level of quality.
Highly organized, strong project management and change management skills.
Education and Training
Minimum BS in Business / Marketing with solid years of relevant and progressive experience or MBA with 6+ years in business/marketing.
Master’s degree or higher in a related nutrition, medical or food science as it relates to key health platform (Cognitive, Digestive, Immune, Women’s and CIA (Clinical Infant and Adult Medical Nutrition)) or category (food, beverage, supplement or pet).
B2B marketing experience preferred in a global organization.
Experience in the supplements or nutraceutical/medical nutrition industry preferred.
Experience working in a matrix organization strongly preferred.
