We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to support day‑to‑day safety operations within a veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a practical, site‑based role focused on ensuring a safe working environment across production, laboratory, and warehouse areas.
Location: Tullyvin, Cootehill, County Cavan
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: Flexible | Part Time
Key Responsibilities
Carry out on‑site risk assessments, inspections, and safety audits
Monitor compliance with H&S regulations and GMP standards
Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Deliver toolbox talks and staff safety training
Work closely with production and lab teams to improve safety practices
Maintain safety documentation and ensure audit readiness
Requirements
Proven H&S experience in pharma, manufacturing, or life sciences
Strong working knowledge of workplace safety regulations
Hands‑on, visible approach to safety on the floor
Good communication skills and ability to influence teams
Strong IT and documentation skills
