Eir evo talent are seeking applications for a Test Analyst this is a long-term day rate contract in Dublin. Requirements: Perform System & User Acceptance Testing of the Functional Requirements of the system and business processes; Supporting Test Manager in the assessment and delivery of urgent ad-hoc project and non-project work as the need arises, prioritising work within their test team as required. Assist in the parallel running of the current system to ensure the new system results are validated against the existing system Documentation of UAT Test Scenarios for business users, Creation and maintenance of system and Regression Test Cases and Test Scripts Definition and preparation of Test Data; Identification and analysis of software defects; Report to the Project Manager (or in the case of the Junior Test Analysts to the Senior Test Analyst or Project Manager) - results, test metrics etc.; In parallel with testing responsibilities, the candidates will be required to assist in the delivery of monthly/quarterly reporting on the testing results. Assist in the updating of any documentation that has gone out-of-date. Provide weekly progress reports on work assigned; Provide skills transfer to Departmental staff. End to end testing of systems under development and ongoing maintenance of the quality assurance processes to reduce development defects and maintain quality standards. Creating test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability). Recording and analysing actions and results and maintaining a defect register to report on system quality using test metrics collected.
