Job Description: Commercial Solar Sales Manager – Munster region.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Solar Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development of new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and overseeing the performance of the sales team. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial solar solutions, energy markets, and the ability to translate technical benefits into clear business value for clients.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the sales strategy for commercial solar solutions.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management.
Identify and pursue new opportunities in the commercial and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, developers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure.
Provide accurate proposals, financial models, and ROI analysis for prospective clients.
Ensure a seamless handover to project delivery teams after contract signing.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and policy/regulatory changes.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven track record (5+ years) in B2B sales, preferably in renewable energy, solar PV, or related sectors.
Strong leadership and team management experience.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Ability to understand technical concepts and present them in business terms.
Strong financial acumen, including experience with ROI analysis, PPAs, or financing models.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree an advantage).
