The organisation began by providing solar panels and installation services, later expanding its offerings in 2025 to include heat pump solutions for residential customers.
Job requirements:
Review survey notes and project plans to ensure installations match design specifications.
Use checklists to identify, prepare, and load all necessary project equipment.
Identify potential electrical, environmental, or safety risks at PV installation sites.
Wear appropriate PPE and ensure correct use of all safety gear at all times.
Ensure PV system designs align with customer requirements, expectations, and site conditions.
Select appropriate surge suppression, grounding solutions, and overcurrent protection.
Assist with all aspects of electrical installation and commissioning, including: Electrical wiring, Mounting inverters and batteries, Installing main switches, Testing equipment and Other standard electrical work for residential and commercial buildings
Double-check the wiring, polarity, grounding, and termination integrity of all electrical installations.
Program, configure, or adjust controls and inverters to required settings.
Test operating voltages to verify compliance with safe operating limits.
Remove and properly dispose of all waste materials (dust, cardboard, plastics, cables, etc.).
Stay up to date with PV installation standards and best practices.
Assist in diagnosing system faults, malfunctions, or operational issues.
Essential qualifications:
Enthusiasm for renewable energy.
Qualified Electrician.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and polite manner.
Availability Monday to Friday; early starts; typically one installation per day; time flexibility required.
Solar experience is beneficial but not essential.
Safe Pass certification.
Full driving licence.
Willingness to travel.
