Junior Quantity Surveyor Road Infrastructure Project (Maynooth, Co.Have you got the right qualifications and skills for this job Find out below, and hit apply to be considered.Kildare) A civil engineering contractor is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major road infrastructure project in Maynooth, Co.Kildare.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering, utilities, and roadworks projects.Role: Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.Support the commercial management of the road project from pre-contract through to final account.Prepare subcontractor valuations, interim applications, and variations.Assist with monitoring project costs, cash flow, and financial reporting.Maintain accurate records of site progress, measurements, and commercial documentation.Work closely with Project Managers, Senior QS, and Engineers to support the delivery of commercial objectives.Contribute to monthly cost value reconciliation (CVR) reports and forecasts.Requirements: 02 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.Understanding of standard forms of contract (NEC, Public Works, or similar).Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.Proficient in MS Excel and commercial management software.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a site-based commercial team.Full clean driving licence and right to work in Ireland.Package: Salary: €35,000 €45,000 (DOE) Opportunity to gain experience on a major road infrastructure project Structured career progression and mentoring If you are a Junior Quantity Surveyor looking to progress your career in civil engineering and road infrastructure, please send your CV or contact Amy Maguire for a confidential discussion, or email your CV to.GPC will not send any applicants CVs to clients without a full discussion and prior consent.
