Primary Function
This key role will support growing services and offerings to the Renewable Energy sector.
Working with other team members, you will ensure that effective processes are identified to fault-find problems or failures and resolve them in high-value electrical/electronic control units.
Major Responsibilities
Analyse and repair Faulty Power application technologies and control systems
Ensure Customer Product is repaired/upgraded in an appropriate time frame
Work with other team members, ensure that capabilities are available to economically and effectively repair and test supplied units
Liaise with other departments to ensure that bought-in components or services are available as required
Ensure that all activities are performed in a manner that ensures safety of all personnel
Working with other team members, ensure that all necessary performance testing and reporting is performed
Preparation & presentation of reports as required
Develop and work closely with Engineering Services to ensure the new or non-standard tests protocols are effective
Support Ongoing Test Activities
Support the organization in ensuring that all test equipment is fully operational
Support the organization through feedback on developed incremental test processes
Essential Skills/Experience
Ability to manage projects in an effective manner

Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work as an excellent team player is essential
Excellent attention to detail and focus on high quality output
Strong communications skills, both written and spoken
A good knowledge of Analogue and Digital Electronics
A good knowledge of microprocessors, memory devices, etc.
Experience gained in an Electronics manufacturing / service function is desirable
Experience/capability to develop basic product test methods and procedures
Qualification
Third level qualification (QQI Level 7 or higher) in Electronic Engineering or relevant combination of education and experience.
