Job Title: Experienced Skip Driver Required
We are seeking an experienced and reliable skip driver to join our team. As a skip driver, you will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of skips across residential and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate skip lorries to collect and deliver skips as scheduled
* Collect general waste, recycling, and compost bins in line with scheduled routes
* Ensure safe loading/unloading and secure transportation of materials
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries
Requirements:
* Valid C Licence (HGV Class 2) and CPC qualification
* Digital tachograph card
* Minimum 21 years old (due to insurance)
* Previous experience in waste collection or skip driving preferred
* Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
* Commitment to health & safety and environmental standards
