Platform Stability & AWS Platform Owner Location: DublinWorking arrangement: Hybrid (1 day onsite)Rate: € per dayDuration: 12 Months Min (Long term contract) We're hiring a hands-on Platform Owner to take full ownership of platform stability, uptime, governance, and technical execution across an enterprise-scale AWS environment.You will be responsible for and have technical authority:Owns platform stability and uptime (not just "keeps the lights on")Sets and enforces governance, standards, and execution disciplineDrives delivery across teams: prioritisation, decision-making, unblocking, and follow-throughImproves monitoring, incident response, reliability, and cost optimisationChallenges assumptions and raises the bar on engineering qualityWe are looking for people with: You must have strong, real-world ownership in the following:Enterprise-scale AWS ownership (large, production environments)Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (deep hands-on capability)Strong understanding of EKS and/or ECS in productionProven ability driving technical execution across teamsClear evidence of platform ownership (not support-only, not advisory-only)Strong communication and leadership presence — you can influence, align, and challengeTrack record improving stability, monitoring, and cost optimisationYou will have a proven ability to challenge Engineers, drive decisions and own outcomes (end to end)Proven ability to operate at an enterprise scale.
