An established clean energy investment platform with pan-European operations is seeking a driven and analytical Investment Associate (or Senior Analyst) to join its dynamic investment team. The firm is active across wind, solar, and energy storage, managing multiple funds and separate managed accounts (SMAs) for institutional investors. With a growing portfolio and strong pipeline across Europe, this is a chance to make a real impact in the clean energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead financial modelling and valuation of renewable energy assets (wind, solar, battery storage).
* Support due diligence processes for new investments, working with internal teams and external advisors.
* Contribute to deal structuring, project financing, and contract negotiations.
* Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models across asset, portfolio, and fund levels.
* Assist in preparing investment committee papers, return scenarios, and fundraising documentation.
* Support knowledge sharing and model standardisation across the investment team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in renewable energy investment analysis.
* Strong understanding of valuation metrics (IRRs, cash yields), commercial drivers, and project finance structures.
* Proven track record in financial modelling and due diligence within the sector.
* Experience with legal documentation for acquisitions, EPC, O&M, PPAs, and debt financing.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Degree in finance, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline.
