Commercial Project Manager
This role involves managing the financial and contractual aspects of road maintenance projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing accurate tender documents, cost estimates, and budgets
* Overseeing procurement processes, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Maintaining control over costs, profitability, and project risks
* Ensuring full compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality (EHSQ) requirements and public sector frameworks
* Supporting invoicing with precise data and reporting
* Identifying opportunities for growth and contributing to business development
The successful candidate will possess:
* Experience in quantity surveying, estimating, or commercial management within civil engineering or infrastructure sectors
* Familiarity with bituminous/tar surfacing works
* A strong understanding of EHSQ compliance and public sector frameworks
* Excellent analytical skills and a commercially astute approach
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
* Strong communication skills, enabling effective stakeholder management
