Fresh Food Operations Manager – Co. Kerry
Excel Recruitment is thrilled to be recruiting a Fresh Food Operations Manager on behalf of our client, a successful and expanding group of convenience stores in Co. Kerry.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced retail or food operations professional to take a leading role in driving food standards, quality, and profitability across multiple sites.
Salary: €50k – €60k – DOE
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the performance of fresh food departments across multiple locations in Kerry
2. Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service are maintained
3. Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability
4. Train, mentor, and support staff to achieve operational excellence
5. Monitor and analyse financial performance, preparing reports for senior management
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
7. Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability and quality
Requirements:
8. Extensive experience in a fresh food, deli, or catering environment
9. Proven track record of managing multiple sites or departments
10. Strong leadership and team management skills
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
13. Financial acumen and experience in budget management
14. A proactive and results-driven approach
