The Business Development Director is responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Planning Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion goals.Identify and evaluate new markets, customer segments, and partnership opportunities.Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform business decisions.
Partnerships & Relationship Management Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, investors, and industry leaders.Negotiate high‑value contracts, agreements, and strategic alliances.Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.
Sales & Revenue Generation Drive the sales pipeline and oversee end‑to‑end business development processes.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design customer acquisition strategies.Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing business development team.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, operations, finance, product) to align growth strategies.Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track progress and success.
Financial & Operational Oversight Prepare and manage budgets related to business development initiatives.Provide regular reports and forecasts to the executive leadership team.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
