* Ambassadorial skills: Present a helpful and professional demeanor to clients, offering full cooperation and assistance as required, with a prompt, caring, and helpful attitude.
* Leadership: Train employees to meet hotel standards.
* Client-centric approach: Strive to anticipate client needs to enhance quality service and satisfaction.
* Collaboration: Offer support to colleagues requiring assistance, demonstrating flexibility in assisting across the hotel in response to business demands and client needs.
* Communication: Assist management in maintaining effective communication within the team, attending hotel meetings when necessary.
* Motivation: Foster an environment that promotes staff morale and encourages employees to take pride in their area and skills, ensuring maximum efficiency.
* Development: Address development needs identified from appraisal with management, maximizing use of areas of strength.
* Sales awareness: Positively promote sales awareness within established standards under the direction of management.
* Operational control: Assist in controlling operating costs within the hotel.
* Hazard identification: Identify and report any hazards or maintenance requirements in the workplace to management.
* Statutory compliance: Comply with statutory and legal requirements for fires, health, and safety licensing and employment, ensuring employees are aware of these requirements and working accordingly.
* Restaurant operations: Ensure the smooth running of the restaurant while on shift, preparing it for the following shift, and reporting issues to the Bar/Food & Beverage Manager for relevant action.
