It provides actuarial oversight, constructive challenge and support, in addition to fulfilling its required regulatory responsibilities.About the roleAs part of the Non-Life Legal Entity & Solvency II team your key responsibilities will be Solvency II. This includes:ResponsibilitiesCalculation of the Solvency II Technical Provisions and Non-Life Underwriting Risk SCRInvolvement in the peer review of the reserving work performed by the Reserving team, including taking part in meetings with Pricing, Underwriting and ClaimsQuarterly reporting to relevant committees and to GroupAnnual reports on Solvency II Technical Provisions for legal entities and the GroupAnnual Actuarial Function opinions on Technical Provisions, Underwriting, Reinsurance and ORSA for European entitiesProviding support to Risk and Group Finance on the ORSA and key EBS and SCR deliverablesMaintenance of documentation of key processes, procedures and resultsAd hoc projects, such as responding to requests from the regulatorQualificationsAbout you:Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Qualified graduate of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) designation, Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society (ACAS/FCAS) or equivalentProficiency in the analysis of data and strong MS Office skills5+ years non-life actuarial experience in Solvency II either in reinsurance, insurance or consulting is preferredStrong communication skills, written skills and proficiency in EnglishHigh motivation, team-orientation and adaptabilityAbility to work under pressure within prescribed deadlinesAdvanced IT, data management and modelling skills; knowledge of Addactis and/or SQL would be advantageousAdditional InformationPartnerRe provides a working environment in which diversity is valued, where all employees feel welcome, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.
