Are you a highly experienced and dynamic operations leader with a background in the technical, manufacturing, or power industry? Our client, a leading provider of best-in-class critical power solutions, is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to lead their EMEA Sales Operations function.
This is a critical, full-time, office-based leadership role.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing technical estimating and inside sales teams, driving continuous improvement, and optimising processes for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Providing overall leadership and direction for the EMEA Sales Operations function, fostering a culture of high performance, and aligning departmental activities with company strategy.
* Interfacing with and managing key vendors, partnering with Procurement on optimal pricing agreements, and developing robust pricing tools to ensure consistent tender performance and cost certainty.
* Leading and managing estimating teams across all product categories, overseeing project workload distribution, and ensuring accountability for technical/commercial accuracy and timely, high-quality bid submissions.
* Identifying automation opportunities and implementing software solutions for efficiency and standardisation.
* Managing Inside Sales and Administrative teams, overseeing the quotation and management of Managed Service Agreements and repeatable standard product sales.
* Acting as a key liaison across departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
* Sales Operations experience in a technical, manufacturing, or critical power environment.
* Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
* Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the electrical or data centre industries.
* Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and CRM tools.
* Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
