The role
Project Management Office (PMO) – Coronary and Renal Denervation (CRDN) DepartmentThis role is expected to be on site 3-4 days a week.ResponsibilitiesRepresent the PMO group on cross‑functional teams executing new product development and/or released product management projects.Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as liaison between project management, planning, project team, and line management.Build cross‑functional project schedules from first principles.Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem‑solving with cross‑functional peers and stakeholders.Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the project management processes, guidelines, tools and business processes, including templates, best practices, and overall implementation.Monitor projects from initiation through delivery and manage changing priorities through effective schedule management and deployment of Project Management methodologies.Support resource management & tracking activities and support the overall project management infrastructure (metrics, reporting, program updates, design & business reviews, etc.).Communicate organizational capacity constraints, program risks, issues and decisions to program leaders, cross‑functional team members and key stakeholders.Manage medium‑scale projects or processes; be a recognized expert in the role.Provide support for QMS audit and inspection preparation specific to PDP procedures and processes, including resolution of audit findings.QualificationsDegree level in Engineering, Science or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desirable.Experience with MS Project, MS Office and other project management tools.Excellent communication, organization, presentation and leadership skills.Dynamic team member who can work effectively and proactively on cross‑functional, global teams.Key Skills & ExperienceDynamic team member who can work effectively and proactively on cross‑functional, global teams.Excellent communication, organization, presentation & leadership skills.Experienced with MS Project, MS Office and other project management tools.Benefits & CompensationCompetitive salary and flexible benefits package.Short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).Pay range: 64,640.00 EUR – 96,960.00 EUR (Ireland).Physical Job RequirementsGeneral nature and level of work described; not an exhaustive list of required responsibilities and skills.Medtronic is an equal employment opportunity employer.
