Our client is currently progressing a major long-term campus redevelopment project, with a brand-new campus planned over the next 8 years. As part of this transition, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the fit out, mobilisation and operational setup of a temporary premises in Dublin 8, where the organisation will be based during the redevelopment period. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating moving parts, managing suppliers and ensuring projects are executed smoothly from planning through to occupation.
The groundwork and planning are already in place - the successful candidate will take ownership of execution and day‑to‑day coordination to ensure the move and building setup runs seamlessly. The Role Working closely with the Campus Development Manager and Head of Corporate Services, the Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of the temporary building fit out and occupation.
This is a highly autonomous role with significant responsibility and stakeholder coordination across suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the fit out and occupation of the temporary building in line with project timelinesManaging supplier delivery schedules and ensuring works are completed in the correct sequenceOverseeing procurement processes and ensuring compliance with public sector procurement requirementsManaging the procurement, delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures and fittingsCoordinating IT infrastructure and operational readiness with internal stakeholders and external vendorsSupporting the implementation of security systems and building access requirementsMonitoring timelines, shipments, lead times and contractor deliverablesMaintaining project trackers, risk logs and budget updatesActing as a key point of contact for internal departments including IT, HR, Finance and OperationsAttending regular project meetings with senior stakeholders and the wider project team
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience managing fit out, relocation, facilities or operational move projectsStrong organisational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detailExperience working within public sector procurement frameworks or regulated environments
