Supply Chain Strategist
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless supply chain operations. The key responsibility is to analyze and interpret data, reports, and metrics to drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tools and processes that enhance data collection and analysis.
3. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to continuously improve supply chain performance.
6. Translate business objectives into executable plans, working closely with manufacturing sites to ensure alignment and implementation.
7. Facilitate and drive process improvements through site review meetings, ensuring collaboration and transparency throughout the organization.
8. Work closely with management teams to develop and implement inventory management strategies, aligning with the overall supply chain strategy.
9. Proactively identify potential business issues and supply constraints, developing mitigation plans to minimize risk.
10. Ensure accurate data reporting, particularly to MRP systems, driving meaningful discussion and continuous improvement.
11. Drive efficiency and standardization in supply chain business processes across sites.
Requirements:
* A primary degree in Engineering, Business, Maths, or Data Science is essential, with a Master's degree being desirable.
* Knowledge of supply chain principles, including SAP expertise, is highly advantageous.
* Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets, are necessary.
* Experience with analytical tools, such as Alteryx or Power BI, is preferred.
* Ability to travel globally as required, with advance planning.
