We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and project managers to resolve technical issues and ensure that systems are properly tested and verified.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, ensuring that commissioning activities adhere to industry standards and project requirements.
Assist in the pre-commissioning and post-commissioning activities, including final acceptance and close‑out procedures.
Ensure that all documentation (e.g., test records, certificates of compliance, etc.) is compiled and submitted for review and approval.
Conduct risk assessments during commissioning and identify any potential risks related to system performance, safety, or compliance.
Travel throughout EMEA to support and witness on‑site commissioning activities and factory tests, as required.

Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with the project manager, design engineers, and construction teams to ensure smooth integration of commissioning activities into the overall project schedule.
Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on commissioning progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions.
Prepare and deliver progress reports on commissioning activities, issues, and resolutions to senior management and project stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission‑critical facilities including data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities.

Knowledge of project management tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer License.
Experience with building codes and regulations for your region.
Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
