About the Role
This is a senior, client-facing position that requires strong leadership skills to inspire confidence from the initial client brief through proposal preparation and onto construction delivery. The role will involve flexibility in relation to travel throughout Ireland and Western Europe.
You will be responsible for the overall delivery of assigned construction projects, including assisting with strategy and input to proposals within assigned responsibilities. You will also ensure the implementation of the company's Health, Safety and Environmental policy on projects within assigned responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability in construction delivery within specialized industrial sectors, such as Life Sciences, Food & Mission Critical. A professional qualification in Engineering or Construction/Project Management is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for assigned construction project/s delivery
* Assist with strategy and input to proposals within assigned responsibilities
* Ensure implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental policy on assigned projects
* Report project construction performance to appropriate business units
* Establish and maintain effective communication between construction site(s) and home office departments
* Establish overall construction execution strategies/plans
* Primary local construction contact for clients on assigned projects
* Review project construction performance and PM Group performance with customers
* Ensure execution of projects aligns with project goals, especially in areas of safety, quality, cost and schedule
* Provide quality service and protect commercial interests
* Implement PM Group procedures and systems
* Review and approve procurement strategies and contracts
* Responsible for formal communication to clients, designers, contractors and others
* Contribute to Digital Project Delivery from a construction perspective
* Establish and manage CM teams to fulfill positions on our CM teams
* Manage resource plans regarding mobilisation/demobilisation
* Review CM Team performance and make necessary adjustments
* Oversight of Monthly CM project reports and reviews with PM Group Teams
* Promote professionalism and efficiency, establishing credible client relationships
* Mentor and invest in career development of construction personnel
* Project the Company's image to clients, public and other third parties
