The Role
As
National Account Manager
, you will take full ownership of key retail and route-to-market accounts, driving profitable growth, strengthening partnerships, and maximising brand presence nationwide.
This is a
remote, field-based role
with regular customer engagement across Ireland and flexibility to work from home when not on the road and once every two weeks in the office.
You will be responsible for managing the commercial agenda end-to-end — from listings and promotions through to forecasting, P&L and new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
* Full ownership of designated national and regional customer accounts
* End-to-end P&L responsibility
* Secure new listings and expand distribution across existing customers
* Drive visibility, availability and execution of the full product portfolio
* Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions and annual increases
* Develop customer-specific joint business plans
* Deliver successful new product launches and innovation roll-outs
* Work closely with distribution partners to optimise performance
* Use sales data, insights and category knowledge to drive growth
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance and Supply Chain
* Support merchandising and field sales execution where required
About You
* 5–10 years' experience in FMCG account management
* Proven track record managing major Irish grocery or convenience accounts (e.g. Musgrave, Dunnes, Tesco, BWG)
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L exposure
* Confident negotiator with the ability to influence at senior customer level
* Existing FMCG relationships that can be leveraged
* Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
* Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills
