Your new company As Retail Assistant, you will join the National Museum of Ireland, providing excellent retail and customer service in their museum shop.
Your new role is located in two locations (Collins Barracks and Kildare Street) and is easily accessible via public transport.
Your new company requires you to join their team for 6 months, approx.
17-20 hours per week.
Weekend availability is required (Sundays are paid at overtime rates).
Your new role As Retail Assistant, you will provide excellent retail and customer service, enhancing all visitors experience.
Your duties will include increasing turnover through service, excellent product knowledge and proactive selling, merchandising shop products in a manner that appeals to their customers, using the EPOS system to process transactions, stock processing and pricing and all other administrative duties that fall into your new role.

What you'll need to succeed You will ideally have 3 years' experience in a similar role within retail, including visual merchandising experience.
You will have strong customer service experience with the ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with your colleagues and customers.
Prior experience of using EPOS is required.
Knowledge of NMI's collections and/or experience of working in a cultural institution, visitor attraction or within a tourism-related environment is desirable.
With clear and relevant examples of your career achievements within a similar environment with proficient customer service experience, you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
