Job Description:
The Senior Technical Officer is a critical role that oversees the supervision, coordination, and administration of technical staff and services within the Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and management skills, with a broad-based knowledge of apprenticeship teaching systems.
This position involves providing technical and service support for all apprenticeship staff in the SETU Waterford Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, including classroom, workshop, and event support.
Key responsibilities include liaison with faculties and departments, as well as other services such as Health and Safety, Finance, and Estates. The ability to take initiative, provide leadership, and work effectively with people is essential for this role.
