Accountant Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team based in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

About the Role:
* Manage financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
* Process payroll, ensuring timely payments and tax compliance.
* Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
* Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
* Manage VAT returns and other tax-related duties.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial efficiency.

* Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, processing payroll, and ensuring the company's accounts are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in an accounting role, ideally in a similar industry.
* Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
