We are growing our hedging, pricing and trading team to support the expansion of our brand.
As part of this expansion, we are looking for an energy pricing lead to join our team of energy and commodity market experts.

Key Responsibilities
Support the production of commercial & residential electricity, gas and heat prices and tariffs.
Prepare price and information for tenders/quotes for larger customers and track prices offered and benchmark.
Conduct competitor analysis and help us understand the market.
Work closely with billing teams to ensure accurate and timely billing through the customer lifecycle.
Work with our hedging team to manage and report on price risk.
Assist in day-to-day trading activities and partake in a rota executing trades for commercial customers.
Produce board reports on commercial activities and exposures.
Produce tools to help automate new or existing business processes.
Report activities or findings concisely and transparently.
Answer price-related queries for internal and external customers.
Provide trading support to customers and serve as a point of contact.
Assist in the provision of market insights and support commercial sales and billing teams to resolve customer queries.
Assist commercial customers in their green energy transition by providing guidance on renewable energy solutions (PPAs, Guarantees of Origin, Biomethane).
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Five years' experience in the energy industry within supply and/or generation, with at least three years direct experience in electricity and gas customer pricing.
Deep understanding of the Irish electricity and gas markets.
Extensive knowledge of electricity and gas customer pricing from first principles.
Self-starter, proactive, resourceful, with accountability and ownership in a collaborative team.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to lead a team and mentor junior staff.
High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong data handling and programming skills; experience with Python, SQL and PowerBI highly desirable.
Comfortable working with large data sets.
Clear, concise, structured communication skills.
Ability to map, follow and improve processes.
Adaptable, flexible, able to change priorities.
