This is a fantastic chance for an experienced administrative professional with a background in publishing or public sector administration to support the busy Publications Department of a public sector organisation based in Dublin.
* Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Editor
* Assist with publishing, marketing, publicity, communications, and event planning
* Maintain accurate internal records and documentation
* Coordinate with internal staff, freelance contractors, and external stakeholders
* Manage invoices, purchase orders, quotes, and income tracking
* Ensure smooth project flow between in-house and external contributors
The ideal candidate will have a third-level qualification, minimum 2 years' experience in publishing or administration, proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT skills, including Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience processing invoices and POs in a public sector setting
* Confidence using Canva or similar design tools
* Quick to learn new systems and processes
