DescriptionProperty Underwriter WTW is seeking a Property Underwriter who has strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to build durable Broker/Insurer relationships.
Ability to respond to Broker demands in a timely manner and keep them informed; building relationships with Brokers to help win and retain business.
CIP qualification is required.
The Role Follow the risk appetite, rating strength, and underwriting rules of the portfolio.Handle a range of queries and referrals within agreed authority limits.Process Policies, Schedules, and Endorsements on both Underwriting and Broker Systems, and issue all relevant documentation.Liaise with your team, Brokers, and Underwriters daily on scheme-related issues and develop relationships with them.Negotiate effectively.Ensure all messages are recorded and communicated clearly and promptly.Take responsibility for project assignments as directed by the Team Leader or Operations Manager. QualificationsThe Requirements CIP qualification or working towards it.Relevant years of commercial experience.Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel.Be proactive, flexible, and willing to assist colleagues.Demonstrate good interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to meet deadlines, pay attention to detail, and thrive in a dynamic environment.Equal Opportunity Employer At WTW, we believe diversity makes us stronger.
