The company has a wide portfolio of clients in sectors including marine, industry, construction, energy and property.The company now has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to join the team in either Dublin / Cork (Hybrid).Working alongside an experienced team you will get involved with a vast array of projects ranging from large-scale brownfield site development, landfill investigations, contaminated site investigations, renewable energy projects and hydrogeology-specific projects including long term monitoring and modelling projects.ResponsibilitiesProviding technical leadership, technical input, guidance and review of Contaminated Land and Hydrogeology related projectsResponsible for team budgetary performance and financial reportingEffective management of large-scale projects from inception to completion including resource and budget management, technical oversight and client communicationsReviewing technical reports including PSA, GQRA and DQRADevelop and improve existing service offerings within Geosciences and look to develop new service offerings across the teamDrive recruitment to facilitate growth within existing and potentially new service offeringsProvide mentorship to junior staff members to assist them in their developmentEstablish and develop strong working relationships with new and existing clientsManage tender and framework opportunities as part of a multidisciplinary RSK teamPerson SpecificationBSc degree level qualified in Geology or a related Environmental subjectMSc in Geology, Hydrogeology or Contaminated Land related subject preferable but not essentialA minimum of 10+ years’ experience in relevant positionIdeally chartered with a relevant professional body or be willing to work towards chartershipExperienced in report review and mentoring junior staffExperience undertaking geotechnical investigations and reporting beneficial but not essentialExperienced project manager who has successfully delivered large Contaminated Land, Remediation or Hydrogeology related projectsGood analytical skills and a good understanding of laboratory testing and interpretation of laboratory resultsExcellent budgetary, verbal and written communication skillsGood business development outlook and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and external bodiesPositive and enthusiastic self-starter, with the ability to work autonomously and make decisions when necessary within pressing situationsSalary & Benefits£commensurate with experienceContributory Pension SchemeContinual Professional Development.
