Regional Fleet Manager, MEU Fleet Management
We are looking for a Fleet Operations Manager who is responsible for the safety, compliance, availability, and customer sentiment of the fleet in their respective region of Germany.
To be successful, the role requires execution of the business strategy, inventing and simplifying solutions, and implementing best practices to support the larger European fleet organization.
Key Job Responsibilities
Ensure vehicles within the region are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations and Amazon Standards by performing audits and collating regional feedback through partnership with Fleet Compliance and Product teams.
Execute existing fleet initiatives and new product launches, and engage with delivery partners by building mechanisms to help manage their fleet.
Influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders—both internal and external—to solve complex operational needs, manage escalations, and influence stakeholders.
Manage vehicle operational readiness and cosmetic standards across the region, analyzing data from different fleet management sources to secure customer experience.
Based in one of our delivery stations in Germany, travel *****% of the time across the assigned region, with occasional travel across Europe.
About the Team
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) handles last-mile delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses.
We utilize continuous improvement initiatives to ship millions of physical products worldwide, supporting concepts like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
Our operations team supports 24/7 shifts, focusing on customer experience, logistics challenges, and reducing our carbon footprint with a portfolio of light-commercial vehicles, including electric vehicles, and supporting technology.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
Can manage a high volume of requests and competing deadlines
Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing
Speak, write, and read fluently in German
Speak, write, and read fluently in English
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing, or equivalent
Relevant Fleet Management or Operations experience, or equivalent background in mobility services
