Trade Marketing Executive (FMCG, Field-Based ) €52, % Bonus Our client, a highly successful multinational FMCG organisation based in West Dublin, is seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to join their Irish field team on a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension.
This role suits a degree-qualified commercial or marketing professional looking to build high-quality FMCG field experience in a structured, performance-led environment.
Location:Field-based Dublin, with flexibility to provide short- and long-term territory cover as required.
Salary:€52,000 plus a 10% bonus payable on successful completion of contract.
Contract:12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
The Role This is a hands-on, commercial trade marketing role focused on retail execution, territory performance and in-store delivery.
You will take ownership of assigned territories, ensuring continuity of service and strong commercial outcomes across all retail channels.
Key Responsibilities Deliver agreed sales, distribution, availability and share-of-market targets within assigned territories.
Execute in-store activity to a high standard, ensuring optimal product range, stock holding and visibility.
Plan and manage trade visit routes efficiently to maximise impact against cycle and quarterly objectives.
Use analytical tools and sales data to identify opportunities, develop territory plans and prioritise resources.
Accurately capture and report all in-store activity and performance data using internal sales systems.
Feed local market insights and opportunities back to central planning and commercial teams.
Work closely with internal specialists to support the growth of priority product categories within your territory.
Essential Requirements Degree-qualified in marketing (NFQ Level 7 or 8).
13 years experience in FMCG trade marketing, field sales, merchandising or a commercial graduate programme.
Strong understanding of retail execution, route planning and in-store performance drivers.
Confident using sales and reporting systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide.
Desirable Experience within FMCG or consumer goods environments.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Exposure to territory or cycle planning models.
