Job Title: Chef de Partie
We are currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at a stunning 4* Hotel in Monaghan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard in the relevant section.
* Liaise with senior chefs on a daily basis regarding ordering, familiarizing yourself with prices and suppliers.
* Maintain low food wastage levels.
* Train junior staff on recipes, presentation skills, and cooking techniques.
* Contribute to new menu development with ideas, assist in cook-offs, write out recipes, and cost new menus across all hotel outlets.
* Maintain exceptional hygiene standards and safe working practices, adhering to HACCP standards and record-keeping throughout the kitchen and all food and beverage areas.
* Monitor equipment maintenance and report any unsafe or broken equipment.
* Elevate and reflect the hotel's mission statement and objectives in all activities.
Requirements:
* A minimum of one year's experience in a high-end 4-star operational role.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Prior experience with maintaining high hygiene and HACCP standards.
* Proven ability to prepare and deliver high-quality dishes for banqueting events, including weddings and corporate functions.
