Data Architect Position Overview
A Data Architect is required to lead the development of an enterprise data platform infrastructure and engineering frameworks. This key technical leader will shape the Azure-based data ecosystem, drive AI enablement, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leverage expertise in architecting data platforms on Microsoft Azure (Databricks, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory) to design and implement enterprise-wide architectures.
2. Cultivate strong knowledge of Lakehouse architecture concepts including Delta Lake functionality for storage management with Py Spark as a primary toolset coupled with SQL for querying purposes ensuring hybrid cloud compatibility in large-scale environments.
