Company Intro / Summary My Clientis seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their pre-construction. The company delivers complex electrical packages across heavy industry and large-scale infrastructure projects and continues to grow due to a strong and consistent pipeline of work. This role offers long-term stability, technically challenging projects, and the opportunity to work within a well-established estimating and commercial function. Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates and tender submissions. Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate pricing. Price electrical packages for heavy industry and large-scale projects. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations. Identify commercial risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options at tender stage. Work closely with commercial, procurement, and delivery teams to support bid strategy. Support tender adjudications and assist with project handovers post-award. Requirements 5+ years experience working as an Electrical Estimator, ideally on the contractor side. Proven experience estimating heavy industry projects. Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and installation methodologies. Excellent commercial, numerical, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider estimating team. Living within travelling distance of Waterford, Cork, or Dublin. Package €65,000 €75,000 DOE Higher salaries considered for exceptional candidates. Long-term role with a strong pipeline of secured work. Well-established estimating and commercial team.
