This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to work on one of Ireland's most ambitious infrastructure programmes.
The successful candidate will have full oversight of project execution-from mobilisation to final handover-and will be instrumental in managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring best-in-class delivery, and driving safety, compliance, and performance.
About the Role You will be responsible for managing all phases of project execution-from mobilisation through to completion-ensuring the delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of a large-scale infrastructure project, ensuring programme, budget, quality, and compliance targets are met.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including engineers, consultants, contractors, and government bodies.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, cost forecasts, procurement schedules, and risk registers.
Oversee compliance with all relevant legislation, including Irish construction regulations, health & safety, and environmental standards.
Provide leadership to on-site and office-based project teams, promoting a collaborative, safety-first culture.
Report regularly to senior management and key stakeholders on project progress, risks, and milestones, Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years' experience in project management roles within large-scale infrastructure or public works.
Strong commercial awareness and proven budgetary control.
Familiarity with public sector procurement and project governance in Ireland.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable.
