Join STS Group as our next MEP Project Manager in Abu Dhabi
We are looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our mission critical projects in Abu Dhabi. STS Group is a market-leading Electrical and Instrumentation contractor, working mostly on mission-critical projects for blue-chip clients across Europe and in the UAE. We are part of the Dussman Group, a privately owned, large-scale integrated facility management specialist headquartered in Berlin. We have a substantial pipeline of work ahead of us and need more skilled professionals to support successful delivery for our clients.
The Opportunity
As our next MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the construction and engineering activities across the assigned project(s), managing the procurement schedules effectively, the construction program, keeping track of the budget and ensuring our health, safety, quality and sustainability objectives are achieved. The initial project will be a commercial/civic project, and a data centre project expected by the end of 2026.
This role would suit a Junior PM looking to step-up in their career. Relocate to Abu Dhabi and enjoy the tax-free conditions of the UAE. The starting salary will be around €5,000 p/month + Vehicle. We will assist finding accommodation but this won't be provided as part of the package.
Key Tasks
* Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met
* Develop a constructible and detailed schedule with the project planner.
* Planning and management of all project resources including labour, material and sub-contractors
* Effectively liaise with the client and establish a trusting relationship to ensure future project opportunities.
* Develop and administer quality control provisions; liaise on project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate
* Ensure the company Health, Safety, Quality and Sustainability objectives are met on the assigned project(s).
* Liaise with the Commercial team to ensure contracts, purchase orders, payment certs and change orders are issued in accordance with company policies.
* Manager and drive the project teams to ensure all project requirements and deadlines are met.
Ideal Candidate
* Relevant third level qualification or trade certification
* 5+ years' mechanical and electrical package experience
* Experience in data centre, pharmaceutical or commercial project environments.
* Excellent IT skills, and the ability to learn new systems with ease.
* A self-starter and capable of working on your own initiative.
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills. High proficiency in English language (written & spoken).
