Finance Co-ordinator – 6-Month FTC

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a rewarding opportunity in the public and not-for-profit sector? We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Co-ordinator to join our client's team based in Dublin 7 on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

As Finance Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in managing financial reporting and payments for a range of Social Inclusion and Equality (SI&E) programmes. You'll lead a small finance team, support internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the strategic development of financial processes and systems.

Location: Dublin 7
Salary: €58,265 pro rata
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday – Friday)
Hybrid: Option to work remotely however will be required onsite occasionally

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day operational management of financial reporting and payment processes for SI&E programmes.
Oversee financial case management, ensuring high standards in data quality and compliance.
Develop financial procedures and ensure systems remain fit for purpose.
Prepare accurate financial reports for internal and external use, including monthly reconciliations and management accounts.
Support funders (including EU-related programmes) with accurate financial data and reporting.
Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and funding drawdown documentation.
Lead the financial inputs into applications, appraisals, contracts, and programme operations manuals.
Manage and support a small finance team, ensuring strong performance, development, and compliance with internal HR policies.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 3 years' experience in financial management and reporting roles.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or part-qualified, or a relevant third-level degree in finance or related field.
Proven ability to analyse financial data to support decision-making and mitigate financial risk.
Demonstrated experience in producing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Experience leading and managing teams in a financial context.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial systems and SharePoint.
Excellent communication, delegation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
