Our organization is currently seeking a District Sales Manager to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves managing a district with line manager responsibility for all store managers within the area.
Job Description
* The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive and motivated work environment and smooth, effective and efficient collaboration among team members.
* This will involve developing, supporting and coaching of store managers within the district to ensure they are equipped to meet their goals and objectives.
* The District Sales Manager will also be responsible for analysing and optimising stock movements, completing district tours with sales executives and supporting projects through analysis and provision of feedback.
Key Responsibilities
1. Management of a district with line manager responsibility for all store managers within the area.
2. Developing, supporting and coaching of store managers within the district.
3. Analysing and optimising stock movements.
4. Completing district tours with sales executives.
5. Supporting projects through analysis and provision of feedback.
6. Overseeing store refurbishment, new openings and re-openings.
7. Creating and implementing annual business plans for the district.
Requirements
* A minimum of a 2.1 degree in any discipline or 3+ years of management experience.
* Excellent communication, planning, organisation and analytical skills.
* A full driving licence is required.
* Organised, flexible, motivated and a hard-working leader with previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
